I NEED HEEEEELP

Post by DreamTheater »

ARGH.. new problem with the computer... every once and a while the computer would shutoff and i would get the dreaded "blue screen".. the "dumping physical memory" screen.. didnt think anything of it.. restart the computer it was fine... the other day it does it again, i reboot, it wont log onto the OS, just keep getting the blue screen, tried again and again same thing... popped in the windows cd to run the repair, maybe something in the registry or drivers was changed?... but when it starts to repair.. guess what happens? blue screen pops up.. preventing it from starting the repair process... well what the heck do i do??? is there anything to save all the stuff on my comp? or do i have to reformat this friggin thing again? HEEEELP MEEEE

Did you install something before that happen ?
I google it and i had that : some people say is because of overcloking CPU or a problem
with memory (ram).
Others say perhaps from a new software installed or a new hardware installed.

Google it and look.

Hope that will help you.

ok first off , boot up in safe mode , hold down f8 after initial boot screen you will then get the option for safe mode

choose safe mode log in under your name and not the administrator account that will show up

right click on my computer , go to properties
then go to advanced , near the bottom u will see startup and recovery - hit settings

then at the bottom u will see ( write debugging information )

change where it says small memory dump to NONE

reboot and see how u go

See pics

Try what screamer said, if it doesn´t work post here again and we will try to help :P .

And what about doing two partitions on your disk, or maybe 3 (being one of them for backup), that way you could solve things easier if you just needed to format the d.... thing. We have already talked about this...
If it is terrible enough... just think how terrible it can gets ;)
