(SPK) MCs - DJ Drunks - Server

Hi all,

I was speaking to the upper echelons of the -=[MC]=- team yesterday whilst getting hacked off with the [fP] server and...

We came to the conclusion that a joint server would a nice idea...

* sharing the costs would make it affordable for us all
* 2 clans adminning 1 server would mean admin was always available
* It'd just be nice to have our own home instead of [fP]

Screamer i think looks after MCs server and knows about costs and stuff.

Any thoughts, please post them guys

I think 20+ is needed TBH, maybe 26 would be ideal.

Sounds like a plan to me. I dint know they had a server. I'll have to add it to my favs now and play there some to get a feel for it. But yeah I'd donate to it each month to help out with the expenses.

Preferedly (SPK)--=[MC]=- Server or -=[MC]=--(SPK). The Joint Clan server of (SPK) and -=[MC]=-.

hello guys , first of , if we did this joint server then it would be a joint name server , equally both ways , both clans would get the names as the server name (details to be worked out ) im up for it , as i know most of you guys are

yup , me and toasted spoke about this and we also think it's a good idea , we have just started renting yet another server ,seems to be the best one we've had so far , so maybe it would be a good idea to use that 1 , although some of you have said that a 32 slot is too big , it does'nt need to be , we can reserve so many slots for ourselves , and reduce it in size for the public , maybe keep like 6 passworded slots back for ourselves , or more or less , let me know what u guys think , obviously we will have to discuss admin and ref stuff , we dont as a rule just give out ref rights to just any of our players , i dont how u (SPK) guys work it , but there has to b some kind of limit , in ours only me and toasted have ref rights , its open to discussion so lets get on it and get it sorted , most of us seem to be in agreement so lets stop wasting time and start the ball rolling , ive also posted this on the -=[-=[MC]=-]=- server so that everybody gets to read it

Yeah we didn't let all players have admin rights on our server either. Probably about 5 people had them.

I like the reserved spots idea...and 32 is fine with me...more than that and it gets bad.

, however i think it should be less then 32 spots...i would say 22 and more 6 reserved spots for us. With more then that we can start to play ET MATRIX, like we do in [fP]... imo.

And like this i think is more fun too, cause we have more chances to get 1v1

, the ip for the one we have is 194.105.135.102:27960 and had a think about a name also , somethin like " -=[-=[MC]=-]=-((SPK)) joint ops " thats to show in the server list , of course the log in page would be dedicated to both clans and the server banners would also reflect the same , let me know what u guys think , this new server is sh!t hot by the way , support available for it almost 24/7 , we have the ts and its all up and running , i just think it would be pointless aquiring yet another server when a simple name change on an active 1 would be all it took , we've been through a few servers and this one seems to beat the pants of them all , no lag problems and decent ping rates , speak to u guys later

Hmm, I love the idea, but the name is not flashy enough to attact ppl. Midnight Spikage sounds like a club to me.

#Hos got a 64 slots USA server now.. and i would love for you guys to be ref/admin on it after that the most #Hos live in eurpoe..

i just got it so its still on its way to be set up.. but the IP is.. 72.5.195.1:20000 and it will be set up this afternoon GMT

only prob with U.S. servers for us -=[MC]=-'s is pings , nearer 200 pings for us

as for the cost of the one we have , we pay , £54 , now i'm not bothered if u guys work out between urselves to pay half of that , or just put forward donations , either way is fine by me , but one thing we dont want is u guys donating more than ur fair share ,. so we need to work this bit out , £27 from ur end is half of the cost , and midnight spikage seems like a sweet name also , peace out

well try the server out first mate

i live in Denmark and i have 89 ping's on the server.. rest of my members have around the same.. so try it out its not to bad..

ps. its not set up yet and will first be done later this afternoon..
