Spiked Fantasy Football

How to Play: Every week you will pick a team, it can change from week to week who you pick. If your team wins, you earn however many points they scored in the game plus the difference in scores (example: team #1 beates team #2 17-14, the if u picked team #1 u would get 17 + 3pts for the difference in scores). If your team loses, you get nothing. Also you may choose a team at the begining of the season and if that team wins the Super Bowl its an additional 75 pts.

The Rules: You may choose the same team as someone else for that week. Once you have selected the team you may not change it. You post the team you picked at least 1 day prior to the game in order for it to count. In other words the forum will be locked during Sunday and Monday football. If you fail to post a team for that week, the team you picked for the super bowl will automatically be made your pick.

League News
Yoda takes the lead after 5 weeks of hovering in 4th place when his colts won back to back 70+ league point games.

Spike's Post-Game Comments:
Atlanta can't hold any kind of consistency in their wins. Games they should win big they sqeak by or blow it. Games they shouldn't win they pull off a miracle. As far as a pick rating goes i would give them a 3.5:5. Tampa, whom Atlanta lost to 3:5

Miami had the lead going into the half but when thy came out on the field afterwards they forgot to play completely blowing it for a loss to Buffalo. But Miami was predicted to lose this game so no real shock there. My pick rating 1:5 with Buffalos at 3:5.

Carolina won big when they took their own cajun, Jake Delhomme, to New Orleans. The game was predicted to be close but with big plays by the panthers and lots of penalties on the Saints, Carolina easily maintained control of the game. Panthers pick rating 4:5 not because of record but becasue of their schedule coming up and their winning streak. The Saints 2:5

New England delivers as expected again. A lot of offense and several good defensive plays. New England gets a 5:5 and sorry Pat but a 2:5 for your browns.

Can you say, no defense? If you watched the Colts/Titans game you probably saw very little of it. Colts got off to a slow start in the 1st quarter but what a huge comeback for a high scoring win. But, the colts have had those very few games this season where they were a little flakey so they get a 4.5:5 pick. Titans with a 3.5:5 pick partially because of schedule.

:D = win
 = loss
 = score to date
:?: = pending game

woohoo i freakin mopped up! Both my teams won today! Best of all Carolina has a good shot at the wild card. The only real threat is the rams if you ask me.
I rode a tank and held a generals rank,
When the blitzkrieg raged and the bodies stank.
I shouted out 'Who killed the Kennedys?'
When after all it was you and me.
Let me please introduce myself, Im a man of wealth and taste.
And I laid traps for troubadours who get killed before they reached bombay.
Pleased to meet you hope you guessed my name.
But whats puzzling you is the nature of my game.
