I see these young kids around me a lot, like my nease in law, and I think "She's 12. And as we used to think, everyone is exposed to sex even at this age, she would absolutely not have ANY clue as to what sex is. All she knows is that women have babies some how."
So to refute your "what child at 9 hasn't seen such things?" question, I say look around. Look at the innocence displayed in how the "young ones" play and joke around. And then ask yourself, "Do I wanna be the one who ends this innocence, or takes this innocence away?"
