Maybe life is like a ride on a freeway
Dodging bullets while you're trying to find your way
Everyone's around, but no one does a damn thing
It brings me down, but I won't let them

Nice call Bell!

That song drives me nuts cuz it reminds me of Mike wearing his Baggy Phat Farm Jeans and South Pole Polo and the bling round his neck trying to hollar at girls through McDonalds drive through.

At least he has the new car now though...

speaking of 3-6 mafia, what the hell!?! They won an oscar for "Its hard Being a Pimp"?!?! The song is pretty damn lame, took them 5 mins tops to write it. On top of that Hustle & Flow totally sucked. In the movies the hoes are all excited and singing along with the rapper. The funny thing is they're singing the lyrics about him beating their @$$. Did anyone else find that stupid?

^^ That would be the problem with most of today's rap, or gangsta rap. It's all about money, sex, guns, and disrespecting women. Yet the women are dumb enough to sing along and like the songs!

Btw one of 3-6 Mafia's past members is now a Christian rapper. I forget his name but he was on the Steelroots show a few weeks ago. He was pretty good I have to say.

Hmm songs the local "pop" station plays now that are "terrible":

Eminem-Shake it (something like that)
The "I'm in love with a stripper" song...kind of funny, but still wrong :P
Crap there's another one with the chic's rappin in it about "I let you hit it from the back, I let you hit it anyway you wanted it"? The music is good, because they sampled an older tune, but the lyrics are just wrong.

Heard another one last night that like every sentence they had something bleeped out, (silenced now cuz they don't do bleeps anymore). Is it now ok for the "teen" stations to play horrible songs because they don't actually say the words, cuz they're blocked out? Like we, and kids, don't know what they're sayin lol.

Sorry to get on my soap box, it just erks me today the way the music industry is putting out crap like they are now...and getting away with playing on the radio, in the middle of the day, even mornings, when kids hear it most. Then you've got kids thinkg this stuff is ok to repeat.

Sorry
