Oooh cool race car, always wanted to drive one. I was thinking about turning my Suby into a rally car, buts its just too damn sexy to do that to :( See what I mean?

I found one thing out, the back 2 doors, they're just for looks. less then 8 inches of horizontal leg room in the back unless u squish urself up into the steering wheel.

nah, the older version had a 2.2 liter boxster, the new one (like mine) has a 2.5L boxster. More engine, more power. Your probably also thinking "more weight". But actually subaru went with more aluminum parts on this one.

my next upgrade will be a turbo back exhaust. It won't change the sound of my car, thank goodness (I hate those loud mufflered cars that sound like they're farting, they're only covering up the fact that they have no engine) but it will give more flow to my turbo for a quicker boost.

and yes, my very expensive car payment that almost bankrupts me every month has ensured me that it is mine :P Also the insurance on that car is outrageous, aparently its in the same insurance class as a Mustang SS.

Oh and to answer u perverts, no sex in that car, I don't want to mess up the seats.

And don't diss the "fart can" lol, it is more for power, (or for me it was... though I now don't care for the sound of most of them). It sounds like a fart can cuz that's what a 4 banger sounds like going through a wide open exhaust :P If only everyone could make $400+ a month payments and another $150/m insurance then we could all own brand new "sports cars" :P Be just like the Mustang guys. There's a big difference between buying a brand new fast car, and actually attempting to build one from something old :O Not everyone can, or cares to, spend $30k+ on a car.

Btw I love the new front end, that is SWEET! I'd still prefer the Mitsu Evo VIII though :D

"Turbo" mufflers are still "MUFFLERs" :P that's why they don't sound like "fart cans" :P Fart can's are straight through....usually a 3" pipe. It's like running a straight pipe and no muffler :D

argh i forgot to change the other plate! oh well. at anyrate, in responding to X, The problem with putting a straight pipe on it is its no longer a street leagl car. The new emissions testing makes that impossible. I think the car has an alright exhaust flow right now, sure the turbo back won't make the flow less restrictive, but like I said it adds to the turbo some. Was thinking of a short throw shifter but theres already not a lot of travel in it and I'm pretty good and quick with the gears so I'm gonna save my money on that for now.

Is your parts business totally gone X? I'd like to get the set of unorthodox pullies for this thing at a good price :D I know u sold subie parts.

Nightmare, the old t/a were awesome. You have a real diamond in the rough on your hands. Get a good original engine or maybe one of the new monster crates and drop in there (you can put an absolute huge crate motor in the old T/As, they have plenty of room for one) then go with a good throaty sounding hotrod exhaust, paint it black and with the gold firehawk on your blower hood. Then see how fast you and your friend snowman can smuggle alcohol across state lines.

I hope a few of you got that last line.

Oh and NM, i know a friend thats selling a super rare motor. He'd probably be willing to swap and take payment for it, depending on what motor your wanting to swap? Its an original '73 427. It came out of an old vette that had hardly been used the motor b4 the car was totaled. So he took the motor and re-worked it some. It is an unholy beast of a motor.

sorry to break this to ya mike.. i have an 86 not a 76.. i wish i had a 76.. the 86s ave the flip up headlights.. but i have the stock 305 in it.. bout 102,xxx miles.. i was looking for a 350.. jeeze.. he can get some $$ for that '73 427.. but even i traded.. them 350s arent worth jack.. unfortunately.. but i dunno if my dads gonn alet me put a big block 427 in my first car :D... id love to have a 76 or 77 t/a .. with the 400 or 455 :drool: i love those.. then i can call myself Smokey ;)

lol funny you say that.. i was just gonna use those 16gs to buy the one on ebay :roll: .. seriously they had a 502 goin for 16,ooo .. now thats a whole lottta money... u can get 2 other cars witht hat money :wink:
