lol if the surge protector had anything to do with I'd agree. Buth there was no surge, heck I had evne unplugged the laptop when I knew a bad storm was on the way. It worked off the battery the rest of that day and the next morning for bout 3 hours

In no hurry for new comp tbh. All I use it for now really is gaming and checking the bank statements...I can do the bank on my wife's. and check email and stuff here at work
